Uh, oh. Does that have a PISTOL grip? Meaning it can be shot from the HIP? Doesn't he know how dangerous that is?

FWIW, this is one of several taken during that episode; I've seen several other shots. Not all are as blatant.

At least Brownback isposing with an AR. That's pretty in-your-face pro-gun in the political realm.

Nobody has noticed his finger on the trigger, and he's not looking down the sights, as in... not prepared to fire?

Whooweee... you can tell who the pessimists and optimists are....

My gawd, he is out in public with an AR!!!

John Kerry would never have done that.

Hey, this Brownback guy sounds like he is with it:

"There has been a debate for some period of time -- constitutionally: what does that right to bear arms mean?...I think you have to define the second amendment broadly, that it means an individual right to bear arms. Some have thought in the past that that's a collective right," Brownback said. "...I think the second amendment is as powerful as any of the other amendments."

Nicely done, Sam.

But keep your booger hook offn da bang switch unless you're shooting. Hmm, is it possible that the news report intentionally picked an embarassing pic to post. BTW, I don't see NSL's posted pic in the link he provided. Did Radio Iowa change it out?

If he was really "with it" he would point out the obvious truth. That all rights enumerated in the BOR are individual rights and always have been. Period.

IOW: "I know", Not "I think..."

No, if he did you would know. I don't mince words.

If he knew where he stood, he would know what the 2A means.
But since he thinks he know he unintentionally exposes that he is unsure. There is no conviction or confidence in a lot of his words. .
.

Yah, don't you just hate it when people just think?

I think he made a boo-boo. I'll post updates.

Maybe, but I don't think my commentary eludea to anything like that.... Do you?

I'm thinking of having them print the front and then I'll run them through my laser printer to do the back side in B&W.

I don't think I can save it as Word .doc

Me thinks Luzerne Co. is adding requirements not in the code.

I think I would have lauged at him, and then asked for his ID or name and dept. so I knew who to report him to for harassing people

I think we can call this a given fact

Not sure what your pupose of the HankT quote dredging is.

When, and if, I am not 100% sure, I will post "I think" or another variation that indicates I am not positive.

If I am positive I post it as fact or that
"I know", etc.

Of course that was the whole point of what I wrote of Sam.

Now I know that it was completely lost on you.

Your qouting me only supports my position. <shrug>

ETA, PS: Thanks for taking all that dig up quotes that illustrate my position. That was sweet of you ;)... I think.:celebrate

But he has on his eye and ear protection and his NRA shooter's vest and everyone is behind him ... and plenty of media attention (including now OCDO), what more could HE want?

Safety is a good tool for tyrants. No one can be against safety.

Either we are equal or we are not. Good people ought to be armed where they will, with wits and guns and the truth. NRA KMA$$
