(I've tried to find info on this on OC before but haven't found anything yet.)
Are self-defenese/deadly force laws in VA spelled out explicitly anywhere, or are they all based on case? I've searched the Code of Virginia several times and even contacted a Legislative Information System rep to ask them (she was no help--just said, "Try searching the Code."). Other sites unofficially summarize VA as a "stand your ground" state but I don't know if that is true.
