Looks like I'm deploying within the next 8 months (previous deployment got cancelled)--and my finance committee has relented on getting a safe.

Given my somewhat transient nature (military), I'm looking at the Zanotti safes, either a ZA-II or ZA-III, for my safe: more easily transportable, yet offers needed protection from thieves.

For those who have Zanotti safes, would you recommend them? If not, why not? What would you recommend instead?

Electronic lock or spin dial with key?

BTW--I do own my house and have a finished basement to put said safe.
