The problem is the barrel length. Why not try a 5"? Like a Dan Wesson Pointman 7 or a Razorback? Your OC holster troubles would be over.

I have a Pointman 7 and it's awfully good to shoot. I like it better than my G20. Which, of course, is another 10mm option. No lack of holsters for a G20.

If you think like a Statist, act like one, or back some, you've given up on freedom and have gone over to the dark side.
The easiest ex. but probably the most difficult to grasp for gun owners is that fool permission slip so many of you have, especially if you show it off with pride. You should recognize it as an embarrassment, an infringement, a travesty and an affront to a free person.

The slide showing is not a problem anywhere that I know of, though you'll want to do your own legal research.
As for the crossdraw, it is a very good carry option, so long as you practice rolling your wrist (so as to avoid sweeping the muzzle across all sorts of targets). You may not be able to use crossdraw at the range, though.
It should not open you up for retention problems. After all, if someone wants to snatch it, they'll have to come from the front or reach across your body.
There's a very good chance you'll end up with a holster or two that end up gathering dust, but try a few and you'll probably find one that will feel right.
