Hello all. My question for those of you out there reading this is this...Is my WV CCW Permit still valid if I am no longer a WV resident? I am now a VA resident, but am unsure if I need to change my CCW permit over as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

IANAL, however, once you become a Virginia resident, you must register you automobile and get a Virginia drivers license. I would therefore assume that as a Virginia resident your West Virginia concealed carry permit is no longer valid. Better yet, just forego concealed carry and carry open! No permit required!:celebrate

Check with our state police. They handle non-resident CCW permits, so they could tell you how much time you have to convert to from one to the other. http://www.vsp.state.va.us

By the way, welcome to Virginia, sir. I think you'll like it here!
