I had another good day of OC'ing around Kirkland and Redmond. I hope I never have to go through what some of you had to (thank you).

Safeway in Rose Hill area-again the bi-tone XD gets people's attention. I saw one of my daughters classmate's mothers, surprisingly she gave me a pleasant hello after realizing that wasn't the latest PDA straped to my hip. ;) I noticed a few odd looks, the checker in the line beside me noticed and gave me a smiling hello. The only person I noticed looking funny was the guy that stuffed my three items in the bag for me, he gave me a sheepish grin and handed the bag to me at arms length.

Chevron next door to Safeway, bald guy filling up asked me if I was LEO. When I told him no our conversation was over, his terms. He "hid" behind the pump while he finished filling up.

Redmond Staples-Had to take my son down to pick up some stuff of the "back to school" list. I honestly don't know if everyone was too busy shopping to notice or what. It wasn't until I was in line that the couple in front of me noticed the silver slide on my hip. The gentleman gave me a nod, his wife looked as if she was ready to run out of the store. The guy the checked my items was either oblivious to my sidearm or didn't mind.

I like these kind of outings.
