Anyone in the chicago suburbs area?

Do any ranges in the area allow holster work? I would like to get some practice for work, however the range closest to me (Maxon's in Des Plaines) doesn't allow holsters, nor does Bristol, WI if I recall correctly. Does GAT in East Dundee? I'm willing to travel a little for a decent range that will let me practice drawing and firing. That's the one thing we didn't learn in the qualification class. :/

I used to go to Buffalo Rock and use my holster all the time. That place is now closed. GAT I don't think will let you. I don't remember any holster friendly ranges that aren't in southern IL as a matter of fact. Bass Pro shops is a no go. Got myself kicked out of there once. Rapid fire you know.

When'd Buffalo Rock close? I was talkign to someone last week Friday about Buffalo Rock. Was it when they got in trouble over allowing class III firearms? XD

I do believe it was for class 3 weapons.......
I don't remember exactly when they closed. They may be open again for all I know? Last time I went there was back in 2000.
