I would love to attend a good training course, more in depth than NRA's first steps class. Unfortunately, most of them are $300 or more. Has anyone found helpful videos or training online, or know of good less expensive training in VA? Thanks!

Learning from videos, IMHO, is a mistake.

At least, when it comes to something like this.

TV(or I guess, in this case, DVD) alters the way your mind works, and prevents proper learning. (I Am Not A Doctor)

But who knows, maybe that's just me.

there's no substitue for the actual being there training.

trying to "learn" the stuff on DVD's or online is kind of like getting your vetrinarian degree from Sally Struthers.

Ok ok, I get. Guess I agree with that, it's just that I can't afford the top of the line training that costs hundreds of dollars. Has anyone found in VA, a helpful training class that doesn't break the bank?
