    That was good.

Suddenly I have the urgefor dry-fire practice and some good scotch!!

I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.

    I couldn't find it.

The short story is that LEO229 said something commendable. I told him I'd buy him something better than cheap liquor.

Another forum member suggested a scotch I'd never heard of, which suggestion made me want to try it. I made it to the liquor store just before closing. Tried it and came back to the forum to compliment the suggestion. I wrote something like:

"This stuff is really smooth. Its like watre. You jsut keep wnting to drnki more dna mo "

There was a thread aroundmonths ago about being ready for when zombies attack. Everybody was having fun coming up with the zaniest ideas for defense against zombies.

Nakedshoplifter combined the drunk Citizen idea with the zombie defenseidea and wrote a fake, but just enough believable, news release. It looked like it was copied right from a newspaper.

It basically said that a Fairfax County man had shot himself in the footwhen he decided topractice dry-fireat the TV when a zombie movie came on.It wasn't until midway into the fake article that he wrote thatthe man was alsodrunkon a fine scotch suggested by his friends.

It even had me believing it until I got to the fine scotch part. I still laugh when I think about it.

    I only got 75%, because the Wal-mart I'd raid isn't given a high score.

    Yaa for little-known chain stores.

Kinda out of shape and I have little to no supplies while living in a large city.

76% if I start from my folks place in the middle of nowwhere. I guess I need to move back in with them and work out more.

70%lol. I wonder what the combo for 100% is?

EDIT: I managed to get 97% lol. Most of the answers are obvious. For the question of what to do first in a building, I choose to find and fortify all entrances. For the question of what building to go to, I choose the nearest fortified building and hide. Not sure where I lost the 3%

I am of the opinion that 100% is impossible. Tried it with the obvious answers and only got 97% as well.

I got a 68% the first time (I think.) So I did try it with reality.

It sucks to only have a few days to a weeks worth a food for my family and that I live in a town larger than 1 stop light. Then I could have got some seriously good scores!

Maybe it doesn't exist? Can one truly be 100% ready for a zombe invasion?

I think it's hard to do because you never know how it's going to spread. If it starts in your neighborhood, maybe even in your own family, you may not have a good chance.

In 28 Days Later it was spread by PETA types trying to free monkeys from a lab. So stay away from bio-weapon labs and PETA nuts.

Ya know I think that's one of the reasons that the "zombie" theory is so interesting. It's almost a matter of how long it'll take you to die, as apposed to how long you'll survive. IF every living creature could eventually turn, then the modern world would fall apart, so what's the point of even fighting back? lol
