• We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.
  • The forum will be down for about an hour this weekend for maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I typed a reply, I hit send and I get a page of SQL errors. I go back to the thread, refresh the page, and find no new post from myself so I hit reply again, retype my message and hit send. I again get a page of SQL errors. Interesting. So I close and reopen the thread and lo and behold, where before there were zero new posts from me showing, there are now two. No mashing the [Enter] key involved.

The search index was corrupt. I am working on it now. Sorry.

Thank you, John. Many of us know how much work is involved in keeping a forum like this up and working and we understand that SQL database corruptions occur through no fault of anyone. Thank you for being on top of it and working so quickly to get it fixed so that we may continue to use your bandwidth and enjoy the forum you provide. :)

Ok people I'm making a ruling here, dogpiling on one member is off topic. Hence I have removed many posts. Folks remember we are all on the same team here.

If/when Rebecca is fired, she'll certainly find an open position in the Baton Rouge media community, who will welcome her with open arms (no pun intended).
She could also get a job here in Hampton Roads VA at the Pile It.
