So, after reading some of the responses to the VA Tech panel recently, I was wondering...

What would happen if someone were to augment a GFZ sign, by putting another sign under it that say “Unarmed Victim Zone”, or something similar?

I mean, I've seen things taped to signpost all over around here. Anyone else?

If they caught you, they would probably send you to a psych eval and take away your 2nd Amendment rights.Make sure youuse your V for Vendetta costume.

It depends on the venue. If you are talking about "defacing" a sign put up by a business or other agency, you could probably be charged with some property crime. They didn't authorize you to add to their signage. (You wouldn't like it if someone added something to the nameplate on your front door). If you are talking about signs on public sign posts as you mention, I don't think there's any reason you couldn't add your own opinion, since people post all manner of notices on them anyway. JMHO.
