Hi

A friend of mine is returning from Iraq in a month or so and will be buying a new pistol.

Can you guys give me the name of a good old fashoned gun shop that he can head into tonot only buy a gun but get some info on conceald and open carry in your state but nota Wallmart or some super store that hire the salesmen for their knowledge of a cash register fishing tackle and womens shoesbut a real gun store that sells only guns and related gear.

Dave's gun shop in Winfield, Ks. is going out of business at the end of the year. He's the most honest guy you'll ever meet, and his prices are super low. There's always a line at his table at gun shows.

I like the pawn shop in Lawrence on 6th street. Its about a block to the west of the Subway. Across from the College Motel I think its called. They actually take payments and if you don't have an ID as long as you come to pick it up with your state ID they don't care. Which might be an issue for this guy just getting back to the states. They even have what I call a starter collection of High Points and other off brands if you want a pistol to just plink with and beat up. Cheers
