Hi Everyone,

New to the forum, but it has given me the push to strap on the holster and open carry for the last several weeks, including with my wife. Now i know how I will carry in the summer. I live in the Kent East Hill area and have been carrying a full size or compact semi-auto openly for the last three weekends with no incicents. Locations have included Starbucks, Fred Meyer, gas stations, QFC, the neighborhood and a few other places.

Even talked for ten minutes with a barista at the Starbucks I frequent and she admitted a couple days later when asked that she didn't even notice. Did have a chuckle when I went to the local hair cut place yesterday. They didn't say anything to me, but joked about it with my neighbor that was in later in the day.

The best was at a gas station when a little girl in a car across the island noticed and pointed in my direction. It's funny how kids notice things while us adults seem to live in oblivion.

Overall, no big deal so far. Need to print out the WAC references and have them in hand if I do ever have a problem, though.

Lonnie should be credited for all his efforts. I am in full support of this endevour.
