Regardless of your state of residence, consider making a quick contribution at http://www2.vcdl.org/webapps/vcdl/donatepac.htmltoday.

Candidates in Virginia from BOTH major parties are being supported by outside instigators like the Brady Bunch and New York billionaire Michael Bloomberg to make gun control their signature issue in Virginia.

But these outsiders underestimate Virginia - the situation is tense, but just like US Army Lieutenant Colonel Creighton Abrams said about the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, "They've got us surrounded again, the poor bastards."

VCDL's Gun Dealer Legal Defense Fund -- help fight Mayor Bloomberg's
scheme to cripple Virginia firearms dealers. See:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

With only days to go 'till the election, the anti-gun forces have
been pulling out all the stops in an attempt to gain control of the
Virginia Legislature..

We have witnessed a heavy barrage of the most dishonest smear attacks
in recent memory against pro-rights legislators embattled in closely
contested races.

In order to combat the lies of the anti-gunners in this critical
election, the VCDL Political Action Committee (VCDL-PAC) has had to
pour large amounts of money into mailings and phone banks, among
other initiatives.

While the VCDL-PAC seldom asks for funds, the intensity of this fight
and the well funded anti-gun effort against pro-gun candidates has
depleted our coffers at a critical time. We need your help!

Much is at stake. As an example of the battles that we are fighting,
the Devolites-Davis Senate race has publicly said that a win for
Devolites-Davis will send a strong signal that the Republican Party
and the General Assembly must become more anti-gun!

We simply cannot let that happen. We need to make sure that our pro-
gun friends all win their hard fought races to send OUR message to
the General Assembly: the General Assembly must become more pro-gun!

Please make a donation to VCDL-PAC today either through the VCDL Web
Site (http://www2.vcdl.org/webapps/vcdl/donatepac.html ) or in the
mail to VCDL PAC, PO Box 513, Newington, VA 22122-0513.

We need your help today - and remember to bring all of your progun
friends with you when you go to the polls on Tuesday November 6..

Can we seeto whomthe PAC money has been distributed?
There is a web site called VPAP.org - at http://www.vpap.org/donors/results_level2.cfm?kEY=ORP000227446you can see the latest report of contributions by the VCDL PAC - however, the PAC also spends money on advertizing etc., so I don;t know where or when this will be reported, or if VPAP will pick up on such reports.
