One of the guys I work with works part time with a staffing company that, among other things, provides security for concerts, sporting events, etc. Since we are talking about the city of Norfolk, of course they want us unarmed and defenseless, but that's another story. In casual conversation today he explained that recently at Scope a man was OCing. The man was asked not to bring his gun into the venue. He stated that he was not inclined to comply with their request. Security decided they couldn't do anything about it but their policy is to notify the staffing supervisor and/or the Norfolk Police. That's all I have right now. Hopefully I'll get a chance to talk to him in more detail tomorrow.
