I just wanted to be the first to say thanks to everyone that made it out to our event at Golden Corral today. I really appreciate all of the support and it makes setting up these types of events much more exciting when you get an awesome turnout like we had today. I really enjoyed meeting those of you that I hadn't met, and I always look forward to seeing those of you that I have. I hope everyone made it back home safely, (minus the small fender bender in the parking lot:shock:)and now its time to start working on the next one

Can't wait to here everyones post about the Layton meet.

We wish you could have made it too. We did have a great time with over 30 people and completely filling the banquet room. I am just throwing Cache valley out there, but we could always do one in Salt Lake City as well, and maybe have a guest speaker, or some other type of activity. Kevin got some pics, so you will be able to check them out when he gets home. The Salt Lake Tribune story should hit late tonight or early tomorrow. B

Sheesh! What a drive! Well worth it though. It was nice to see familiar faces, and meet some new friends. Thanks to everybody for the great turnout, and congrats to Jeff Johnson for the recognition from UCC.:celebrate

We had a really good time, and put more names to faces. Thanks for organizing this event, Brian! It was a great turnout.

I really like that Cache Valley idea!! :D
We've been to Provo and to Layton now. It's only natural to go further North.:celebrate

I'm really sorry that I couldn't be there, but unless the next meet is on a Sunday I won't be able to attend since my work schedule is 6 days a week starting a 2 p.m.

I for one think we should rotate between north and south. I don't know if I could justify more for gas with diesel costing more than $3.50 a gallonif we head any further north. Great turn out, sorry I had to ditch towards the end and miss the pictures. It was great fun and I even managed to make it into the news article.

North to South? Provo is not south. :p

Why wouldanybody want to stay in the icky inversion during the winter. Why notvisit thereal "Southern Utah"where the weather is warm, and the skys are blue... :) St. George is awfully nice in December, January, and February.

Anyway... Congratulations on the article... Its nice seeing the positive publicity.

Don't you worry, we will get down to St. George for an event like this. We have to keep in mind the whole state when we are involved with a push such as OC. Logan will probably be as far north as we go, and then we need to have one in Salt Lake City and then head down south, so February might actually be a great time fora southern get together. B

Mesquite sounds good to me, but I'm probably the only other person from Southern Utah.

In case you guys didn't know O.C. is legal in Nevada, and Nevada now accepts the Utah CCW permit.

However, Mesquite casinos are not gun friendly. I've been asked to leave in the past. Keep the guns legally concealed in the Casinos.
