Last Saturday GeorgiaCarry.Org (GCO) held its 2007 Fall Luncheon. The Luncheon was held at the Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center near Covington, GA. We had two great speakers, Rep. Tim Bearden of the 68[sup]th[/sup] district and Doug King (you may know him as “DKing” on arfcom), a criminal defense attorney from Marietta.
Rep. Bearden spoke about some exciting news for gun owners in GA in the upcoming legislative session. Mr. King spoke about self defense and the law in GA. Both were outstanding speakers.
After lunch, we all went out to the range for some recreational shooting and a turkey shoot.
