"All your bases are belong us" Post-modern ill literacy.

And thank you for stealing my bandwidth illustrating another image (site) to block. A picture may be worth a thousand words so a nonsense-picture is a thousand words of nonsense and millions of bits wasted where a thousand may suffice.

Either we are equal or we are not. Good people ought to be armed where they will, with wits and guns and the truth. LAB/NRA/GOP KMA$$

LOL... Someone decided to go post that to a site that wasn't on my approved list to hotlink... which I've since added...

Things like this wouldn't happen of people just asked PERMISSION to hotlink an image.... :banghead:

Like I said, blocked.

And I will not buy VISTA for abetting/enabling such abuse of (un)intellectual property rights. AFAIC on the 'net it must be (abusedly)overwritten with your copyfright[sic] notice else it's fair game.

The reason I block hotlinking from my website isn't becasue of any copyright or intellectual property rights. It's merely becasue unauthorized hotlinking has cost me hundreds of dollars in bandwidth overages in the past... and while a 200k file by itself is not a lot, when you have 1,000 hits on that per day for 30 days, it adds up quickly.

Web sites pay PER BYTE OF DATA that is downloaded from them. And when you run a website like mine that pushes nearly 30 GIGABYTES of data per month, it gets expensive! I don't have ANY advertising on my website. I have no source of revenue from it. I pay for it entirely out of pocket. I could buy a very nice gun every year for the amount of cash I outlay to run my website - not to mention the countless hours of time I put into developing the site itself and the back-end PHP code that runs it.

So please think about the people who pay for the bandwidth that you steal when you hotlink an image without permission!
