Ok question does anyone know the answer to this. Lets say if you do not have a ccw. is it ok for you to israeli carry in your car. So can you carry a sidearm on your hip or on the sit next to you as long as the gun is 2 actions away from firing. Also does anyone know if utah is going to pass a law soon that is finally going to decriminalize people from carrying in there car fully loaded without a ccw.

The quick answer is: Unloaded and visible

2 actions is unloaded so you are fine there. On you hip the gun is not visible to a cop who would likely be standing at the drivers door; but on the seat next to you clearly visiblewould be fine. Or you can put it in a case (Even a tupperware container, still 2 actions from firing) and stick the case under a seat, in the backseat, etc (somewhere not readily accessible) and it would not have to be visible.

IANAL
