I received notice of this meeting and the location. The location made me question concealed carry. I would imagine the VFW has a sell and serve abc license and falls under "club" in the code. This would make CC illegal. Please correct me if I am wrong.

VBRPC meeting Thursday, January 10th
*********************************************

VCDL Board member John Fenter will be addressing the January 10th
(tomorrow)
meeting of the Virginia Beach Rifle and Pistol Club (VBRPC) at 7:30
PM. VBRPC's
President, Steve Gordon, graciously provided VCDL with the invitation
and facilities.

John will be discussing the General Assembly session, including
information on the pro-gun and anti-gun bill that have been
introduced. He will also discuss the upcoming Lobby Day on January
21st and will answer questions.

This will also be a great chance for members who are coming to Lobby
Day from the southeast to coordinate carpools!

The meeting is open to VBRPC, VCDL, and Norfolk County Rifle Range and
Airfield Shooting Club members.

I think you are right, among other things 'club' refers to Veterans clubs in the law. I would definitely OC.

"Club" means any private nonprofit corporation or association which is the owner, lessee, or occupant of an establishment operated solely for a national, social, patriotic, political, athletic, or other like purpose, but not for pecuniary gain, the advantages of which belong to all of the members.
