I am new to the forum and not sure if this is the best place to post this question. I hold a Florida C.C. Permit and was told by a local police officer that I can carry no more then 10rounds in my S&W, M&P40 magazine, which holds 15 rounds. I have looked everywhere and can find no statute that limits the number rounds to 10. The police officer is a friend and I would like to be able to point to a statue that discusses limits on how many shells can be legally carried in a semi-automatic hand gun. Bill

You do not have to prove it to him. Have him cite the statute to you. If there is not a law against it, it is legal. Welcome to the board.
