In Legba's case ( http://opencarry.mywowbb.com/forum43/5590-1.html ) the police say that the gun case was in plain sight so they could legally search the vehicle.
What's the reality of this kind of ruling? I mean, ANY case could possibly contain a firearm. Does that mean if police see a 'case' in my vehicle than anything in it is considered in 'plain sight'? What does a 'gun case' look like anyways?
