I don't think its fair to never let a person convicted of a misdemeanor crime domestic violence serve their country or own a firearm while they let felons carry on their official duties so a felon can go to the military but a person with a misdemeanor DV cant? One can get a domestic violence charge from just arguing with ur livin mate and spraying them with a lil spit coming out of ur mouth. If a person would want to kill someone they live with they don't need a gun. I think they should take this off cause its bs. Let felons carry guns at work but not a person with a misdemeanor lol. So its ok for a convicted drug dealer that has probably destroyed many lives and killed many people with his business to serve our country? Any comments or opinions welcome

I'm in the Army and actually laughed in a seniors' face when I had to sign a paper stating myability to meetthis prior to a 16 month deployment to Afghanistan. As if ever being convicted of a misdameanor will somehow cause me to go crazy while on deployment and kill everything.
