And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms....The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants"

All the users of a particular Wildblue NOC get the same IP. Neither my first nor my second 'vote' incremented the counter, both got the 'IP previously recorded' error.

May I giggle, at you suggesting (thank you) anonymouse.org to me after my railing against Anony Mouse? HO ho ho. But still, thank you.

Remember not to have hyperlinks to polls. Many sites will edit out votes if a sizeable portion come from one forums, etc.

How would the site know from where a person clicked?

Handy little thing MS came up with many, many years ago. Any page you click on can tell what browser and OS you're using, what your IP is and the last page you were on (the referring page). IIRC, it was originally designed to help advertisers determine where the most clicks were coming from.

Here, this page will show you all the info that's available to any server whenever you click on a web page. Not all use the info, but it's all available! Surf smart!
