I see a John McCain ad at the bottom of the OCDO page. Is there something that can be done to get rid of this. IIRC, OCDO didn't want to support any particular political candidate.

This ad might give the false impression to the fence sitters/let wing/anti-gun establishment that Gun Owners specifically support McCain.

It's a Google Ad. It picks up on key words and displays ads that it thinks are most relevant to the discussion so people will be more likely to click on them. That's why chances are there's a John McCain ad on this page right now. Because I just typed John McCain.

And more than likely no one on this site clicked on the ad.

I don't see it ... an effective ad blocking program removes much irritation from your internet world.

I hadn't noticed the ad before, but it was at the top of this thread when I clicked on it.

Well other than his anti gun show private sale position, he doesn't sound to bad on paper. I think his track record on guns is better than Romneys.

Anyhow I always try to click on ads if I think they are from antis. I enjoy the irony of them having to pay in small part for this forum.

    That is an excellent point!

Agreed. I wish there was a way to load ads for some websites, but not display them.
    Why open carry? Because 1911 > 911.
