Well, after almost a year I finally got a holster for my Ruger Alaskan. These have been hard to come by, but Mary managed to find me one:

Sweet Rig. Not sure what a Ruger Alaskan is as far as caliber goes, but that thing looks serious .

The Alaskan is the snub nosed version of the Ruger Super Redhawk and it comes in three delicious flavors; .44 Magnum/.44 Special, 480 Ruger, and for the truly masochistic, you can get it in the 454 Casul/.45 Long Colt.

You don't need that silly short thing. Tell you what I'll give you my M95 Nagant revolver and take that gun off your hands for no extra charge.... I'll even through in a holster and 40 some odd rounds of ammo! :P

That is a NICE gun. What caliber?

    Where's the bayonet fit on?

Put that thing on a trailer and call it towed artillery.

I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.

Nice piece, Mainsail! I miss my .44 Mag Redhawk. I sold it to my Brother in law.
