I only found this forum a while ago and thought I'd say hello. I'm originally from Alaska but currently stuck in Florida, moving back very soon however. Needless to say, Florida is a horrid place and never trust your relatives word on things. :?

I turned 21 down here and bought my pistol but since I thought I was moving earlier... I never got around to getting my CCW for Florida. That and I refuse to hand them $180 for something not required and much, much cheaper in Alaska, especially when I hate the place.

I intend to mostly CC in Alaska but want to OC quite a bit too. It is the duty of every citizen to help uphold the law and make a display of such actions. I would be interested in going shooting with some of you at some point or meeting up in tuxedos at a fine restaurant with fine revolvers strapped all around.

What kind of rigs do you guys wear? Pistols? I'm curious. - Schofield

I currently carry a Glock 19 in a Blackhawk Serpa holster, along with an Uncle Mike's double magazine pouch. I occasionally carry a Beretta 92 when I feel like lugging a full size service pistol around with me.

Dontcha know you have to be over 65 years old and arthritic to enjoy Florida? LOL...had some great times in Ft. Liquordale during Spring Break back in my Navy Days (Can you sayCandy Store? I knew that you could!)
