Coming to southern VA South Hill, La Crosse area this coming weekend. My Alabama CC permit is good until I get to VA. No reciprocity between VA and AL.

So the question is... how is the climate in South Hill / La Crosse for OC ?

I've dined out a few times in South Hill as part of a big group, several of whom were open carrying. No issues.

Beware... South Hill is a speed trap. Several 25 mph zones in town, with local police looking to profit from you not noticing.

Thanks for the heads up Mark... I'll keep it legal while in and around town. I hear tell that La Crosse is bad for that too.

My family is from South Hill. I own land in what used to be Union Level until the post office closed down and it was annexed by South Hill. I spend a lot of time there and I will say that what DrMark wrote is 100% dead on accurate.
