Cats hiss before biting. Dogs growl and bare their fangs. Rattlesnakes.....rattle. All are defensive displays and I think we as a whole appreciate it.

I'd much rather have a dog that protected its mate or territory by barking and growling than one that ran up silently and latched on to my posterior without so much as a "how ya doin? " I think it's the predators we have to worry about, the silent crocodile waiting in ambush or the thug with his Glock fotay, not someone displaying a warning and trying to Avoid trouble.

Looks like it's passed the House. Doesn't it have to go through the State Senate and then have the Governor sign it before it's a law? Or am I missing something?

Now if they would only let the good citizens of California carry them.......
