Hi, OC'd in Monroe this last weekend, and then went to the gunshow, of course had to disarm at the show, but that's another topic..... lol

No problems whatsoever. A few looks, but nothing said.

I OC in Monroe quite a bit, and have never had any problems. Lived there for 5 years, same result. Now I'm an out-of-towner with STILL no problems. Starbucks, Fred Meyer, Big5, and more... I think Monroe PD, and SCSO might be catching on. Received a few nods from both... No comments, just nods...

Monroe PD has always been, at least in my experience and knowing a few retired officers and a retired chief, pretty relaxed. Everytime I go out there they seem to be very open and friendly.

I think more and more areas are becoming used to the notion. It just takes a few good examples...
