"Wild Woman" Mary Zeiss Stange will discuss the history of women and hunting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, in Ripon College's Kresge Little Theatre. The event is free and open to the public. Stange is the author of the books "Woman the Hunter," "Heart Shots: Women Write About Hunting," and "Gun Women: Firearms and Feminism in Contemporary America." Her books discuss the relationships between women and guns, including guns as hunting tools, self-protection weapons, use of guns by women in the military and the use of guns in certain careers such as law enforcement."
