Anyone own a 228/229 can recommend a good concealed holster? I'd also be willing to buy a used one that is no longer in service from another forum member.
Thanks.

My SIG 229 is my OC handgun. It is a lot of gun to conceal. How do you plan on concealing? IWB , shoulder holster, OWB with jacket, ankle holster (Not sure if ankle holster exists for SIG 229 as I have never seen one.)

I bought Blackhawk SERPA holster for my P228 with the plan to get the shoulder holster platform for it in the future, and in the meantime I use that holster on my hip.

I have not yet found the "perfect" IWB holster. In the meantime, while I pursue that quest, I purchased a $10 Bulldog nylon holster that I can carry IWB, or OWB between my belt and waistband depending on what I am wearing. It is not ideal, but it actually works pretty well. Biggest downside to me is re-holstering and lack of sweatguard. If I had to take unholster/reholster my pistol a lot during the day I would not use it. So for short term until you find what you really want, that is an option.

For some suggestions:
I hear Crossbreed very much praised for functionality, comfort, quality and warranty (although it does take some time to get your holster) : http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/index.html

Here's a "Guide" to CC holsters. I found the information worth reviewing:

I triedone of the cheap IWB holsters from Cheaper than Dirt. Didn't like the carry, it was a lot of gun to have there. Uncomfortable when sitting down. If you must conceal it I would use a shoulder rig. That worked well for me when wearing a coat. Not practical for the summer, IMHO.
