What is the deal with open carry in Sprng Lake/ Fayetteville? I always OC in Jim's and Gun's Plus. My only issue is carrying in public. I have a Glock 21SF. It is a pretty large frame weapon, will it throw drama flags? Bought from Jim's. The guy broke the seal and there was three 13 shot clips in .45 cal. (Jackpot!!)

Follow the law and you will be fine. I open carry in Fayetteville and Spring Lake all the time where it is legal to carry. Here are a couple of places I have carried or still carry in: Walmart(Spring Lake around the town as well), Reed Lallier Chevy(Fayetteville around the town as well), Home Depot, many others). I often will stop LEOs whether I am carrying or not to speak with them about the OC as well. The Sheriffs Deputys (Cumberland and Harnett) seem to have the most knowledge and understanding of OCers. The FPD guys are hit and miss. I haven't had problems out of them though. I recently joined the forum and I like to peruse the topics before I respond.
