"Eleven-Year-Old Brings Unloaded Gun To Newport News School"
Apr 1, 2008 4:00 PM EST

Newport News police say an 11-year-old at B. C. Charles Elementary School student was arrested, at school, after he was found to have a hand gun in his book bag.

The hand gun was not loaded and did not have any bullets in it, according to police.

Another student alerted a school administrator that the 11-year-old had the gun.

That's when police arrived and took the student to the Juvenile Intake and charged him with possession of a firearm on school property.

No one was hurt in the incident.

I dunno, lobsters are pretty smart, and relatively intelligent. You might be giving him too much credit, and assuming he's smarter than he really is. :?

Made me think of something like:

Unlicensed Student Brings Undrivable Car to School

The auto mobile did not have a fuel tank in it and was out of gas, according to police.

I am quite sure all of you are giving the reporter way to much credit. I am willing to bet he wrote down exactly what the police said. Therefore, the reporter is not the only Einstein in the crowd.

Hey do I smell some reporter bashing here.
That's allowable as surveys show that Americans put reporters somewhere below defense attys and used car salesmen as far as trustworthiness. ;)

I figured you guys would have some great comments on that article and I was right! LMAO
