It looks as if the Brits are beginning to realize that forbidding boys to play with toy guns just makes them deceitful and angry, but allowing them to do so keeps them balanced. How very appalling ! This will make it harder to turn them into good, obediant little socialists. What to do??

Seriously, who didn't have a pop gun or a cap gun, play war, cops and robbers, or cowboys and indians. Most of us probably did and our fathers before us and so-on.

You know what? The toy guns didn't have orange or red tips and I never knew anyone that was shot accept a few folks that shot each other withBB guns. Nobody went on any rampages and cops didn't mow us down and neighbors didn't call 911 freaking out that children were gunning one another down in the streets. Nobody ever told us it was improper, it was a part of being a kid and running around getting exercise. It was as normal as throwing around a football.

personally, I have always felt that boys playing with toy guns in connection with being taught how to properly respect teh real thing would eliminate alot of the needless violence today. another benefit to this is that it would teach kids the difference between "make believe" and reality, something that is obviously lacking in todays world.
