What could possibly make you think that it would be. There are all kinds of businesses out there that have signs showing their business is a gun free zone. You have the same rights as they do. Maybe get/make a sign of a gun with the circle around it without the line through it.

Depends who you work for :lol:.

I have a sign on the front door of my house that says "If you trespass on this property, beware of flying objects. They contain lead."

I don't carry a gun to shoot to kill someone. I carry a gun and would shoot as necessary to stay alive. If the assailant dies as a result of a desire to harm me, it's no loss to society.

No one, no one in the world has a right to pass any laws infringing on our rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The socialist politicians don't want us to have any guns because they are well aware that their socialist programs could, and will, cause unrest, uprising and revolution. That is why our forefathers put the Second Amendment into place so as to protect ourselves from government tyranny. They knew there would be people who want what we own and are willing to threaten and cause bodily harm to get it.

Anti-gun politicians don't want women to have a gun and to use that gun to protect themselves from an ex boyfriend or husband who beats the hell out of her. They say "An order of protection will protect you" That is the most asinine statement anyone could say to a bruised woman with black eyes, broken nose and teeth knocked out.

Meh. I would be more inclined to just have no sign. If I really had to have one, I would have one worded something like: "Legal Carry/Posession of a fiream welcomed!". Or have a sign that says "Helpless Victim Zone" encircled with a slash through it... or one that mostly only pro gun people would get, "Sheep Free Zone", Or a picture of a sheep with a slash through it... "Sheepdogs Welcome!" or something of that nature.

Okay... I kinda got into the moment.

Our driveway is appx. 1/4 mile long. The gate stays locked. Halfway up the drive is a prominent sign. It reads: trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again. Recently, I was speaking to someone I had never met who had come here uninvited and unannounced. He mentioned he parked at the gate and walked around it. When he got to the sign and read it, he said to himself, "maybe I don't need to be here," and turned around and walked back out.

But I am sure this would make any antis in the office uncomfortable and complain "hostile work environment"

I would suggest, that if this is your business and you want to make it known you are firearm friendly to those that carry, possibly a "circle" with a firearm in it like the "no firearms" signs, but without the dash and the background "green." sort of a "guns are good to go"

I have thought about this for my office (dreaming actually because politically it wouldn't fly) and I think I would take a pic of a gun free zone sign and then draw the circle/bar around/across that. Instead of a gun with a circle/bar it would be the stereotypical gun free zone sign with a circle/bar.

Me likey, that's actually pretty good. People would pause trying to comprehend it. If someone objects just say you're for "double" gun free zones :^).

I'd take one of those gun free zone signs and shoot a couple rounds through it. Display it with pride...

I couldn't get away with that sign where I work, but I do have one of my targets shot full of holes prominently displayed next to my muscle car calendar. I've only got positive comments on the target so far.

Nuther good idea. My input would be to make sure you shoot it at a close enough range to get powder burns all over it

If I was in your position, I wouldn't put up any sign at all. People who are already pro-gun will find it funny and entertaining. People who are anti-gun will think you are a weirdo, and it will make them uncomfortable. I have always found it better to talk to the anti-gun folks slowly, cafefully, and kindly. When you are up in their face about something, it turns them off, and makes it hard for them to see the logic behind it.

You might want to consider how that sign could be used against you in court if you ever did have to shoot someone...

You might want to consider how that sign could be used against you in court if you ever did have to shoot someone...

Since the law here states that you can only OC with owners permission, I'd like a sign that says

"Open Carry allowed on this property" Managment

Wonder how that would go over???

There's a business near my house with a sign in the front window. At first glance I was concerned when I saw the international "gun" symbol in a circle, but then I realized there was no line through it.

The wording goes something along the lines of "customers and employees are welcome to legally carry weapons in this store."

I'll see if I can snap a photo some day.
