Incendiary rounds; fired at a person...

What kind of damage would result from an incendiary/tracer round, 9mm, fired into/at a person?

Just curious....

I was 'thinking' (uh-oh, that's dangerous!) that if it was as hot as it says it is (~3k degrees), that it would burn a hole as far as it could before it cooled down leaving a relatively bloodless cauterized wound..

(ETA: Would be a great home defense solution if that were the case, -1 intruder without the bloody mess, heh)

What about HE rounds?

Anyone have any range experience, or testing with ballistics gelatin?

Haha. I can't help but think of one of those 3k degree rounds grazing a curtain or lodging into a wooden door frame. Grab the 'mallows! :lol:
