    I thought these sort of restrictions were preempted...? Am I wrong?


    ETA: I see the reference to SMC, must be a city park...

    You are correct that the firearm restriction is pre-empted.

    S.M.C. is a Seattle Municipal Code and the firearms part would be State preempted. So their sign is all BS.

    That site is popular for scuba divers. I have yet to figuer out how to open carry there. But then they dont make holsters for spear guns..

    Another popular site (that I don't think has signage prohibiting firearms, but haven't checked) for scuba diving is Brackett's Landing right next to the Edmonds ferry terminal. I've OC'd there a couple times without incident.

    GLOCK 17 or 19 (9mm's) w/the maritime spring cups, and a Kydex holster.......underwater open carry= NO PROBLEM!!!:celebrate
