...I know, great title, huh?

I of course meant my little (but growing) family of guns. Went out to the desert Saturday morning and shot the following:

30 rounds out of my Mosin Nagant M91/30. Hitting a gallon jug at 100 yards about 4/5 shots now!

50 shells through my brand new Remington 870 express. First 10 clays I only hit 3, last 10 I hit 8 (plus a few jack rabbits thrown in for good measure). This wa about the most fun I have ever had shooting! Before Saturday I had NEVER fired a shotgun before! I am hooked and now picture myself tearing through boxes of clays on a monthly basis! Can't wait for water fowl season!

50 rounds through my XD 45, she hadn't been fed in far too long. Mostly drills on drawing from concealment and firing at 7-10 yards.

20 rounds through the wife's new KelTec P3AT. This is not a gun you want to spend a day at the range with, as it kicks like a mule and pinches my trigger finger (not to mention I can only get 1.5 fingers on the grip). Accuracy was better than I was expecting. all shots on an 8 inch target at 10 yards no problem. The size and (relative) power really do make it the perfect carry gun for the wife though...

I also put 20 rounds through my buddy's AK (Yugo M70 with the fixed stock) and I absolutely loved it! It was my first time ever shooting an AK and I am now supremely jealous of this gun and really want one for myself!

I think my new shotty is my favorite though! Taking it out coyote hunting next month!

I finally got to shoot my new AR-15 this weekend. I got my last part friday and finished putting her together.

Went to our family farm in MD and put a magazine through it to make sure it worked. Went to the range at the NRA on Sunday with my g/f and friend and put about 200 rounds through it. Shot like a dream. I waited way to long to get an AR.

Shot my XD45 and P22 as well.

Shame it was about $100 in ammo though :- i need to start reloading

Very nice! I definitely have some room for improvement, I know. I actually need to take it to the range and tweak the sights a bit.

I have been told by a dealer that with the Gants somtimes you get a really good one and sometimes average. I was going to change the stock on mine as it has a slight crack but considering the accuracyI think I'll leave it alone.

casullshooter, hey there! I figured I'd run into you sooner or later! Don't mean to hijack the thread, just wanted to say hi.

To stay on topic though, Peaches and I went to the NRA range and shot the whole "family" as well! Astra A-75 .40, Beretta .25, Kimber Stainless/TLE .45, and a spanish no-name 1911. Well.....it has a name, but FireStorm .45 just sounds [politically incorrect word].

But I tell you what, it sure is fun to shoot! Rubber grips, nice heft, fairly accurate.

Peaches enjoyed my Kimber the most. We're in the market to find her a carry weapon.
