I have an origional S&W 59 with the origional Mags and I think I still have the box. Good condition and shot little. Anyone know what they're going for. I seldom sell guns but am thinking about getting rid of this one.

looks like, on gunbroker.com, they're going for anywhere between $300 to $450, depending on the condition and finish (one I saw was nickel-plated)...

Thanks Kle. This one's blue. I've probably had it for 25 years and while I don't care much for autos, I really hate this thing. I run across it once in a while and think about selling it.

Thanks Dixiehacker. I think I'll take it to the next show and see if I can trade or sell it.

That's a nice pistol Pete. James City County PD used to issue them and I got to shoot my buddy's piece on a regular basis.

My first 9mm was a S&W Model 39 and I loved it!

I bought a 39 shortly before I got the 59 and still have and use it. It was the first caliber conversion I ever did. I got a spare barrel and re chambered it to 38 super.

I've worn most of the blue off now but it keeps going. It was the only concealment gun I carried for years.

The 59 is too bulket and no matter what magazine I use, jams.
