Okay, How does this one look. Keep in mind these are drafts and text, etc..may be different depending on the retailer. So look at the wording and general layout. I have sent a PM asking permission to use the OCDO logo.

I like the lightning bolt. It draws attention to the shirt, and I think nicely gets the point across. I also like having the pistol instead of a shield on the front.

HAHA that's hilarious.... I suppose we (most of us) do carry to protect ourselves and others, not that I'd ever think of myself as any sort of hero....and, as mentioned before, we could order underwear from Cafe Press

I like the design as long as you think position correctly on the different size shirts... I think it should

We are getting closer on the T-shirts. Have limited permission to use the opencarry.org logo (with conditions). I'm working with Doug on this and will get the logo graphic to him when I receive it.

I'm coming to this party late so take what I say with a grain of salt...

1. The keyhole thingy looks like a coffin to me...

2. When trying to influence others, I avoid the word 'don't' and like to rephrase with the word 'do'...telling people not to panic suggests that it would be a 'normal' reaction and they need to be 'told' not to react instinctively...

On the one hand, the subliminal message could be 'coffin' (dead) and 'don't' - don't be dead...open carry

I agree that no weapon in the logo is confusing as to what open carry is all about.

Just my opinion...

The idea of the logo is to suggest a covered holster and still retaining the rules of heraldry. It's a slight abstraction designed to give the allusion of a handgun in a holster on a belt. Me thinks your are reading too much into it, and you may be preoccupied with this death thing.;)

Welcome back, long time no post. We made a lot of progrees since you last posted. I hope you have been lurking. You should stop by the Flint grinders car show June 14th. Info on a previous thread. We will have a booth to answer questions people may have on open carry. Love to see you there.

I have made one inquiry in regards to prices for 50 shirts from size medium up to XXXXL.

Set-up cost $80.00 (because it's front and back with two colors). Add T-shirt costs.

25 shirts including the set-up would be about $16.50 ea. With an out lay of about $388.00.

50 shirts including the set-up would be about $13.00 each (at cost, no profit)

That's an initial outlay of $650. That's a bit of change to come up with.

So I need to get an idea of how many we could sell to recoup our costs. I know when can sell some extras at the Charity event, and other shows (cars, etc.) but I would need to have some of the costs covered first. so let me know who's interested. They would look good on spouses and kids alike.

Also if anyone comes up with a better price let me know.
