A disturbing trend in Chicago has "specialized units" patrolling the street with "combat rifles".
CHICAGO— Chicago police say they found three bodies inside a home on the city's South Side.[/b]
Police spokeswoman Laura Kubiak says the bodies were discovered around 6:30 Wednesday morning at a residence on the 2800 block of south Kildare Avenue.
Authorities at the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office say there was a shooting at that address.
But investigators haven't released any other information about the case.
The city has been plagued by dozens of fatal shootings in recent weeks, including one that left five people dead.
Police have stepped up patrols, put SWAT officers and specialized units on the street and increased their fire power by using combat rifles.
