quick question as sorry as this bunch is, how many of you voted for Bush not once but twice?
Actually I voted for Bush 4 times and would again for either Bush including Jenna over the bunch running this time. I also voted for Jimmy Carter one time and that taught me a lesson.

I already answered that....guilty as charged and with the same options I would do it again.

I voted for him in the general, but not the primary in 2000, and ended up being a campaign volunteer as Gore is a waste of skin as he continues to prove. I held my nose and voted for him in 2004 because Kerry was so very much worse, IMO.
I actually have voted for the GOP candidate in every presidential election although not for the eventual candidate in any contested primary. I thought voting for Dole was going to be the most vomitous inducing vote I would ever cast. Voting for McAmnesty is going to top that by an exponential factor.

Your way with words, does a fair job of reflecting my feelings on the matter.

If only Stalin were still alive, we would get someone more conservative to run.
I think I'd vote for Stalin over the current crop...
Not sure that I would go quite that far but I am still waiting for Paris Hilton to throw her er....er...um...hat in the ring. She is just as qualified as any of the others and a lot more pleasant to look at since they are going to be on TV 9 times a day for at least the next 4 years.

Even if you do not like or want to vote for any of the Presidential candidates at least go vote for Representative and Senator in your State. These guys are a little easier to hold accountable. If the correct congress is elected the President does not matter as much.

The ONLY reason I can see for supporting McCain is he would nominate somewhat better Judges. Obama has openly stated that he will seek out activist judges that favor "The powerless over the powerful" the law be damned.

Very good points.

However, I'm not voting for McCain...not like it really matters though, because WA state is going to "go blue" no matter who I vote for.

Bob Barr FTW!! :p

This will guarantee a win for Obama. Obama does not worry me so much but his "posse" does. .

Two points, the first is easiest. obamas posse concerns me not, if you listen to him speak, that alone should be enough. He is EVIL, thru and thru. No need to rehash, no one here is stupid enough to vote for him. Moving on.

You are assuming that mcAmnesty ever stood a chance. I still don't think obamma will get the nod. Hitlery is machine. She isn't out yet. IMO it's 51/49 toss up with hitlery having the edge.

mcAmensty has never stood a chance. Honestly Ron Paul has a better chance of winning and he is going to even be on the ballot in November!

I'm a conservative. A real conservative... all my friends are conservative and virtually all of us held our noses and voted for dubya in 2004 (except a handful of us we voted Badnarik.. like Indiana wasn't going to bush anyway didn't matter).

This time around if it's hitlery vs mcAmnesty all of us but one are voting for juan. The rest are going third party.

We realize with those two they are identical but atleast with the old bag (hitlery I should probably qualify which old bag I mean) we get 4-8 years of gridlock. mcAmnesty gets legislation passed... NO WAY I want that dirt bag in the whitehouse.

mcAmnesty has neither the money or votes to win in November.

At this point I'd jump for joy and love to see a hitlery vs mcAmensty vs solid third party candidate. That way we know mcAmnesty is done and can toss it up for D's vs 3p's.

I don't know enough about barr since the klinton debacle to say if I'd support him or not... I'd actually kind of like to see Jesse Ventura run 3p. That would be a hoot and he is VERY progun.

My eyes are bleeding after reading that. Cute names for the candidates are fun once in a while, but don't you think you're being kind of ridiculous? :uhoh:

Anyhow, I think I'm following the lead of Tomahawk and voting Hillary. :celebrate

I voted for RP in the primary, and as it stands, I'm really torn. I think McCain might be a better choice just because of Supreme Court appointees. But at the same time, I plan on joining the Marines in three years or so, so I'd definitely prefer us out of Iraq. Obama's a socialist and I hate everything he stands for, but at least he'd pull us out of Iraq. The main problem is that with a Democrat Congress, he could push through a lot of very damaging Justices. And we all know that man's opinion on the 2nd Ammendment. It exists because people are poor and need things to cling to instead of the State.
