I never understood why some states (such as Missouri and Montana) make it a felony for licensed law abiding citizens to carry while on public transportation. What's the big deal? As much as I disdain it, I can at least understand some of the other off limits places, such as daycares, courthouses, jails, etc. However, I can't for the life of me understand why places such as churches, polling places, and public transportation are off limits. I'm glad it's not a big deal here in Indiana, because I don't even own a car, so I use public transportation to go everywhere. If public transportation were off limits here, I would have to leave my gun at home. No one should have to do that due to the lack of a personal automobile.
