Thread: Stumbled upon this today
While taking in the soda cans with my son we found this box, 4 feet x 4 feet x 4 feet full of .45 ACP brass. There was another 1/2 its size full of brass as well. After talking with the manager they only buy scrap and cannot resell any of the material they get. I just about cried watching it being loaded in the compactor.....
I only wanted a couple of 5 gallon buckets filled.
WOW I wonder where it came from, could it have been flawed from some ammo company, because it looks too shiny to have ever been fired.

is there a place that maybe proof fires guns in the area? If so then maybe they were pushed beyond normal pressure levels.
The military sells brsss but its weird that it would all be .45.
there was another box that had a bunch of mixed stuff (rifle, pistol) but this one was all 45 casings. I'll have to make a call on Monday and see where they get it from.
