How sure of that are you? After all, Bush has been in office for over seven years.

Barack Obama is almost the exact opposite of George W. Bush in terms of physical appearance and ideological/cultural background. People are willing to put up with a rotten President as long as he's a WASP Republican from Texas, but they will not be able to put up with Barack Obama.
Unfortunately, you underestimate white guilt. If anything, Obama would have any proposal rubber stamped because the white sh**ple would feel it racist to oppose anything he says or does.

Once again, hopefully not... and perhaps I'm just on a cynical kick.

I pretty much agree Imperialism. I think the even bigger problem is with the media. They already do what they can to fawn over Obama and excuse many of his problematic issues for election. The media has a definite agenda and at least with a McCain presidency, being a republican we know his every move will be scrutinized by the media and twisted into the worst light possible. With Obama, his most socialistic and stupid decision will get spun to be be the most statesmen-like action of the last two centuries. Only those who regularly seek out alternative news sources will know what is really happening.

Thatadvertisement I just sawat the top of this page about the three maincandidates is horrifying. The posts in that blog are nothing short of ridiculous. People complained that McCain has no children in Iraq, and when someone pointed out that he did, they were attacked by the same group, who then claimed that having a child in Iraq didn't matter. That is just plain weird.

And so your non-vote will go to Obama. And he will bring in activist judges into the supreme court. His legacy will last for 20 years. And in that time, you and I may lose our right to keep and bear arms because of four years of a Marxist president.

One, mabye two SCOTUS judges will be selected during the next four years. Obama will be ruinous. I do not particularly like McCain, and I cannot be certain what judges he brings but he claims he will not bring in activsts. We KNOW what Obama will bring.

So be it.

The two party system we are all pressured into supporting will never change at this rateand both of them will continue toperpetually lean farther and farther to the leftafter every election. We have seen thishappening for the last 20 years because we held our noses too many times and voted for more of the same, and to keep someone else out of office. Other parties need support and are growing. There are reasons for that. Give us a candidate that is even remotelyworth a damn and we might think about it.

A police state will not be better or more worthy than a nanny state. They are both evil.

I am tired of people telling me my vote FOR a specific candidate is going to another candidate. I will voteFOR a constitutionalist and for someone that will adhere to their oath of office. There isn't a "vote against box" on any ballots in November.

Those two clowns do not provide my criteria in a President, so it's not that hard to figure out. If McCain loses, don't blame the third-party voters, blame the candidate. He obviously didn't earn their vote, nor their trust. He would have nobody to blame but himself.

The ballot box is where we start the changing process. A drastic shift to communism under Obama or a slow trickle to communism with McCain will all lead to the same place in the end.

Neither Democrats nor Republicans are happy with the three party candidates (2 D, 1 R). The correct response is to tell you party you're not satisfied before the candidate is official.

I see your point, and I agree. But when it comes down to it, it is about the judges. They can do the most damage, and the damage they do will last for decades.

They also answer to no one. You can call your senator, your representative, and the President. You cannot write, call the judge.

[align=center]Well this video is mostly full of crap. All of his words and ideals are being twisted around to make him become the villan. I think we need to think about the people who don't bear guns or other firearms, like Obama. The thought of anyone with a gun is threatening and almost sinister. It freaks citizens out, and it also freaks obama out. In reality, the majority of American citizens can relate and agree with him on there decisions. He knows what he's doing.

Whoop...there it is.

And now for my personal opinion:

Yeah, if he's trying to finish turning America into the God-Forsaken, socialist camp that will defile human rights and spawn the Anti-Christ...yep! He's right on track!

IMHO.

And if I'm wrong, I'll apologize. If I'm right, no, you can't borrow a rifle.

I'm sure he knows what he's doing and I will do everything in my power to see he isn't elected.

Obama:

We're gonna end up like belgium or switzerland -- 65% income tax, giant tariffs, crappy government medicare that can't treat a scrape on the knee, job assignment, forced abortion, abolition of military forces, gun confiscation, staying in the United Nations (*shudder*), ridiculous litigation an hatecrime laws, restriction of religion, and, a sure sign of the apocalypse, Oprah having governmental influence.

A socialist reich that will last who-knows-how-long. Every governmental branch will be Dems.

Here's the issue: no one is conservative. I remember a time when everyone was. The Republicans were the businessmen. Funders. Doctors. Lawyers. The Democrats were just looking out for the middleman. Trade-unionists. Workers. Everybody had a strong moral and religious basis. Now everything is stacked against the right-wing.

Load your guns and dig your trenches. November will be hell.

I think you mean Belgium or Sweden. Switzerland has a more sane policy on guns than the USA does. Every male over 18 is required to serve in the militia and is given his own assault rifle (a real one with full-auto capability.) The last elections saw the pro-gun Swiss People's Party winning over the Socialist Party by over 10%.

Switzerland has lower tax rates than either the EU states or the USA. Additionally, tax evasion in Switzerland is treated as a civil matter, not a criminal one like here in the states.
