Well, nobody beat you to it:lol: Did the reporter give you a heads up that it was posted? Not a bad article overall, although she did manage to neglect to mention that the restaurant CC bill prohibited drinking while CCing...

She said it would be WED. I think she did a good job.. I posted comments too but they are held for 24 hours I guess. Registering is a pain.. but I see a couple of "NO's" have already hiot the poll.. it is in pecent and not actual votes..

A couple of more ignorant anti gun comments on there now.

You know, if I knew WHEN I would need a gun to defend myself, I would avoid going there in the first place. The point is I can't know when I will need a gun anymore than i can provide a schedule of unplanned network outages or server crashes at work.

When I had to shoot at a coyote in my backyard that was approaching my kids and appeared unafraid - did I know ahead of time I would need to?

Meanwhile some of the other comments are equally ridiculous.

The comment by twhtwh is simply typical of those who hate the individual liberty supposedly guaranteed by our republic. They favor instead the mob rule mentality of democracies, whose tyrannies have been well known since the days of Plato. The tactics of anti gun folks like them are to belittle, dismiss and shout down, to rule by mob mentality. When the anti gun crowd shouted down pro gun speakers in the GA hearings , it reminded me of the tactics of another group of so called guardians of the decent majority in 1930's Germany, where anyone who dared speak against their orthodoxy was shouted down, at best. Perhaps many of the antis were not loved as a child, and find a fundamental need for the approval of the world community, and to be so willing to sacrifice our Liberty to get that approval from their socialist comrades .

Meanwhile, the comment by stephen is just more of the same - mob rule. He feels that since he pays taxes, the police officers should not follow the law, but should instead listen to the mob mentality of the anti gun folks. For him to claim to not be anti gun, but then turn around and be against the right to actually CARRY the gun is like someone who agrees with free speech, so long as you remain silent. A pandora's box indeed.
