2:46 p.m. -- Boise police close State Street briefly after 911 call about a man with a gun

David Kennard-dkennard@idahostatesman.com Edition Date: 05/23/08

Boise police closed State Street between Collister and Wylie streets in response to a call about a man with a gun.

Officials said the man was inside a building in the area, but they said they did not want the public near the area.

State Street was closed from about 12:30 to 12:45 p.m. until the man was taken into custody and turned over to health and welfare officials.

Ok, Own up, Who was it? j/k

On a Side note the Reaction of the Police is somewhat Absurd.
(As was the 911 call)

The Article gives painfully little info and is incredibly Vauge.

Wasn't me, I checked the adasheriff.org site, didnt see any gun related arrests, nor did I recognize any of the mugshots. there didn't seem to be enough information on the incident.

Thats to bad when a 911 call is actually allowed to continue on a man with a gun call unless he was violating some state law. Now maybe he was and the :cuss: "unbiased" :cuss: media wasn't telling us the whole story...
