.......If you want to promote open carry have a friend record your legal acts and put them on youtube. If people see a visual of this you could encourage more gun owners to open carry. It would be cool to see like a open carry tv series on youtube which i think people on this forum and the opencarry one would get a kick out of..

So what do you guys think of this? Good idea? Do you think youtube would be another effective tool to promote open carry in this socialist state?

There are a few videos of open carry on youtube. The ones I've seen are of some guys in New Hampshire. They did a litter pickup in one of the "rough" neighborhoods in New Hampshire and they were OCing the whole time. Then there was another time where they were OCing down the street and they were stopped by a state trooper or something and they had to call the local PD out to set the trooper straight.

I do think it's a neat idea. I might see if my wife or bro is willing to be my camerman. I bet you'd get more attention that way. People might not notice a small hunk of metal next to your hip but they seem to home in onto cameras. Or maybe I can buy one of those nifty button cams.

Thats good to hear that people are open to the idea and if you do record itsend a link :). If the mainstream is trying to promote a gun ban why not use the internet to counter the mainstream offensive on our rights?

Yup. Just need a camera man with a digital camera here. The presence ofsomeone with a camera would certainly attract more attention than the firearm, which would lead to a greater possibility of a law enforcement encounter. Which-- would make for even better video.
