OC holsters requirements

I could not find anything on this so I am sure there is a lot of opinion.

Is there a rule on the type of holster you need to OC? For instance, can it be an open top, or does it have to have a thumb strap or some type of retention?

There is nothing in Oregon law that statesany requirements for a particular kind of holster. Most people would agree that they prefer some level of retention. You might find more information on the holster discussion forum.
